Meghan has spent her career working in both the private and public sectors. A former corporate and civil rights litigator, she has an extensive background in policy advocacy. Meghan has worked at nonprofit organizations that span the issue spectrum: the Natural Resources Defense Council, Third Way: A Strategy Center for Progressives, and Americans for Gun Safety Foundation. Meghan also served on the presidential campaigns of Governor Howard Dean and Senator John Kerry. Her work involved policy and research as well as traveling around the country facilitating relationships with the national press corps and local media markets. Meghan holds a law degree from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University. |
